2007 was exciting, challenging, rewarding, educational and inspiring for me! I gained hundreds (actually thousands) of new friends, acquaintances and supporters. There is nothing to regret!
Of course, there was disappointment in losing the General Election by a few hundred votes, but I would not give up the life experience it gave me for ANYTHING! I am now inspired to continue my quest to become a public servant and truly believe it will happen some day.
I was just chosen to be a participant in the IMPACT Greensboro project and I have several other "irons in the fire". Not only will these groups help keep me abreast of concerns in the community but will also keep me involved with others who want to make a difference.
My wish for each of you in 2008 is that you prosper, have good health and that we can all come together with solutions to help Greensboro become a better place one step at a time - because now IS the time!
